Hospital is a Basic Emergency Department providing around the clock
emergency medical care for acute illnesses and injuries.
Registered Nurses, Practical Nurses, Patient Care Technicians,
and Unit Secretaries complete the departmental staff available
to care for all ages, from the neonate to the elderly.
The Registered Nurses are certified as TNS (Trauma Nurse Specialist),
TNCCP (Trauma Nurse Core Certified Providers), ACLS (Advanced Cardiac
Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), APLS (Advanced
Pediatric Life Support), and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Provider).
The Emergency Department staff participates actively in the Cardiac
Network, Region II Trauma Council, and Stroke Network.
As a Participating Hospital in the Regional II Trauma Network, our goals are to rapidly and accurately
assess the patient’s condition and stabilize according to priority. If
necessary, arrangements will be made for admission or transfer
to a Level I Trauma Center for more definitive care.
