Specialist educates program participants in means of safe and effective home and rehab exercise and activities and is well versed in all cardiopulmonary disease risk factors. The Exercise Specialist communicates participant exercise responses to the physician by program summary reports and telephone calls. The Exercise Specialist collects outcome data measurements and assists department head in program and IOP development.

Must have Bachelors degree in Exercise Science. Must have EKG interpretation course and skills to interpret telemetry monitor. Must have Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification.
