The Kelley Home is located among the homes of Canton's historic West Side. The home participates in the annual events of the West Side Association. Home residents live in an area close to all commercial services, yet in a residential community free from all commercial traffic and activity.
All meals are served in the Home dining area. In this lovely atmosphere, we are able to give attention to birthdays, holidays and other special occasions.
Living at the Kelley Home
Residents must be capable of independent living. Residents often maintain an automobile. A large living room makes it easy for residents to entertain guests. Guests are also welcome to dine with residents.
The Nancy and Ann Kelley Home
The Home is operated by the Nancy and Ann Kelley Trust, a not-for-profit trust established by Mr. Thomas Kelley as a memorial to his mother, Nancy Kelley; and his wife, Ann Kelley. The purpose of the trust is to assist in providing affordable housing for single ladies.
The Home was built in 1956. It originally provided rooms for ten residents. Each room shared a bath with one other. Currently, several residents choose to occupy two rooms and maintain a private bath.
